So I'm a keyboard nerd (the other other type))

First of all, I'm not really into keycaps, switches, or any of that sort of thing. I think I currently use a basic membrane keyboard as my daily driver. I'm also not into the musical type of keyboard. The type of keyboard nerd I am is the one who uses alternative typing schemes. It all started out with my learning Dvorak. Just a fun thing to do for a few months. I ended up liking it so much that I'm now using it as my main keyboard layout. After a while, I discovered thumbkey on my phone. I've also gotten fairly good at it too (honestly, it's sort of awesome for one handed typing). This has made me known for no one being able to use any of my stuff. I have accidentally left the Dvorak keyboard on public computers before (Windows, why do you stay on QWERTY when you log out but then randomly switch to Dvorak later if it's the default). The latest development in my journey of making my computers unusable to anyone else has been buying a stenography keyboard. I just got it today, so I have no skills with it, but we'll see where it goes in a few months time.
